UW-Platteville s Ian LaMere was named men s cross country Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Runner of the Week, announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Ian LaMere took home the individual title to lead the UW-Platteville men s cross country team to a first-place finish at the Warhawk Invitational, while the women s team placed second on Saturday in Whitewater, Wisconsin.
Former track and field coach Jim Nickasch, and former student-athletes Kristin Haase, Brian Hagen, Craig Kohn, and Keri (Wells) Meverden (1995-99) named to the 2014 Athletic Hall of Fame Class.
