A valiant effort came six points short as two-time defending champion UW-Oshkosh finished second at the NCAA Division III Women s Indoor Track & Field Championship held Friday and Saturday (March 13-14) in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Jecel (Gerner) Klotz and Kylee Verhasselt are back to defend their individual crowns as UW-Oshkosh seeks its third consecutive and 10th overall team title at this weekend s NCAA Division III Women s Indoor Track & Field Championship in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Melanie Brickner won both throwing events to help UW-Oshkosh finish second at the WIAC Women s Indoor Track & Field Championship held Friday and Saturday (Feb. 27-28) in Platteville.

UW-Oshkosh will attempt to end the string of titles by the UW-La Crosse men and women when it competes at the WIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships this weekend in Platteville.

Assisted by Melanie Brickner s two victories in the throwing events, defending NCAA Division III indoor champion UW-Oshkosh won the Titan Women s Track & Field Challenge held Saturday (Feb. 21) in Kolf Sports Center.

In a four-team meet with some of the best of the WIAC women s track and field squads competing, UW-Oshkosh finished second with 157 points and had five first-place finishes on Saturday (Feb. 14) in Whitewater.

UW-Oshkosh's Taylor Sherry was named one of the two WIAC Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Week award winners for the period of Feb. 2-8.

UW-Oshkosh handled the competition by taking home nine first-place and five second-place finishes at the UW-Oshkosh Women s Track & Field Open on Friday (Feb. 6) in Kolf Sports Center.

UW-Oshkosh won six events and tallied five second-place finishes en route to 162 points and the team title at the Warhawk Women s Track & Field Classic held Saturday (Jan. 31) in Whitewater.

UW-Oshkosh swept the WIAC Women's Track & Field Athlete of the Week awards after Melanie Brickner and Taylor Sherry achieved outstanding performances at the UW-Whitewater Warhawk Classic held Jan. 31.
