Amanda Brom (Jefferson/Jefferson) and Jacky Bigger (Twin Lakes/Wilmot Union) broke UW-Whitewater outdoor track and field records at the Gregory Invitational hosted by North Central College in Naperville, Illinois Thursday.  Brom, a sophomore, ran the 800 meters in 2:10.0.  The old record of 2:11.13 was set by Megan Kielar in 2006.  Bigger, also a sophomore, threw the javelin 136-8 in Naperville.  She broke the record of 130-2, set by Mollie Zirbel in 2007.
