Marcus Smith (West Allis/Central), the UW-Whitewater record holder and NCAA III champion, will compete in the triple jump at the USA Track and Field Championships at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa at 6:00 Thursday evening. The 2013 championships serve as a selection event for spots on Team USA set to compete in the International Association of Athletics Federations Championships that will be held in Moscow, Russia in August.
