UW-Stout's Tim Nelson wrapped up his illustrious career by being named as the Capital One Cross Country/Track and Field Academic All-America® of the Year for the second consecutive year. Nelson won the 2012 NCAA Division III Cross Country individual title last fall. During the 2012 track and field seasons, Nelson won three individual national championships. Nelson graduated this spring with a degree in business adminstration with a grade point average of 3.70. A member the UW-Stout ROTC program, plans to be commissioned into the US Army this summer.
