UW-L Captures Griak Invite; Mead Wins Individual TitlePublished by
Minneapolis, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's cross country team won the University of Minnesota Roy Griak Invitational Saturday at Les Bolstad Golf Course. The Eagles finished with 60 team points to capture their first Griak title since 2009. The 60 points is the lowest team total in the Griak Women's Division III Maroon race. The University of St. Thomas (Minn.) placed second (69 points) Saturday while St. Olaf College (Minn.) was third (76). UW-Oshkosh finished fourth (107) and Wartburg College (Iowa) fifth (121).
