DES MOINES, Iowa -- Zach Ziemek, in the midst of a redshirt season for the Wisconsin men's track and field team, leads the decathlon field after the first day of the 2015 Drake Relays on Wednesday.Ziemek, a three-time first-team All-American, eclipsed the first-day plateau of 4,000 points for the sixth time in his career and leads the event with a score of 4,018 points. UW freshman Sawyer Smith, in his second-ever decathlon, sits in sixth place through five events with a personal-best first day score of 3,705, while junior Charlie Foss is close behind with 3,603 points.
