New Orleans, La. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's track & field team has been named the 2015-16 Scholar Team of the Year in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III for the outdoor season by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the organization has announced. It marks the fourth consecutive season UWL has earned the USTFCCCA Outdoor Scholar Team of the Year honor. The Eagles finished with a 3.20 cumulative grade point average in 2015-16. UWL earned the distinction as a result of being the highest-placing team with at least a 3.10 cumulative grade point average at the NCAA Division III outdoor championship.
