Emily Bauman and Morgan Sweeney paced UW-Stout at the Luther JV Cup Friday. Bauman finished in 26th place with a time of 25:21.4 on the 6-kilometer course, while Sweeney was 28th at 25:31.1.

Baillye Durkin and Katie Hicks led UW-Stout as the Blue Devils competed in the Women's Maroon II Competition at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota Saturday.
UW-Stout's Katie Hicks and Baillye Durkin finished in the top half of the Michigan State Spartan Invitational, a race populated with runners from NCAA Divisioin I and II programs, as well as elite running clubs.
The Blue Devil women's cross country team had one of their best finishes in several years and return several runners from that 2011 squad. Team captains Katie Hicks, Bailye Durkin and Haleigh Flottmeyer will lead the Blue Devils.
The UW-Stout women's cross country team earned academic honors for the seventh consecutive year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association, the organization announced recently.
